Disclaimer: Circuit Bending by definition is taking a sound generating circuit, and modifying it to make sounds that it was never intended to make. I take every precaution possible before I bend something, but there is still always the risk of damage. I guarantee no DOA on my circuit bent items. If you receive something from me that's not working then send it back, and I will take a look at it. If it's un-fixable I will refund your money. I can not guarantee the longevity of these instruments with modifications. If you buy/commission something from me and it does stop working after a while please contact me, and I'll see what I can do. I will very likely at least try to fix it if it is something that I did. Quite honestly I haven't had a bentstrument yet die of "old age". Most of them go bad within the first few minutes of bending if they are going to go bad at all. The most common failures are switches, or bad connections/broken wires.

Custom Circuit Bent Instruments

I build a wide variety of instruments, and effects. I've done any where from simple pitch control bends, to strange oscillation guitar pedals, to large complex bends (see SK-1, MT260, Glitch Station). If there's something that you want to do that you don't see on my pages email me about it. I love taking someone's idea for an instrument, and making it a reality if possible.

If you have something that you are looking to get bent send me an e-mail through the contact page. In most cases I will have to take a look at it first, and let you know what I can do with it before we can talk too much about what it's going to cost. If it's something I have previously bent, or can find info on then we can discuss price a little sooner. You can look through my instrument pages, and sound sample page to see some of the things I've done in the past. As I stated in my disclaimer the process of circuit bending has the possibility of being fatal to the object being worked on. If you commission me to bend something for you there is always the chance that it could toast the chip. This being stated, if it does get fried I normally eat the labor it took me to get to that point, and just send the item back at my cost and call it even. I will of course do everything in my power to resurrect the item if this happens. If you don't have the specific item you want to do in your posession let me know. I go searching for new bending targets quite a bit, and you never know what I might run into.
